On October 28th we had our own "Flag Day" around here. We were making gifts for Nana, Mimi, and us but since Nana and Grandpa were in California visiting we had to work fast (while they were out on a day trip). Emily was up first and I loved that when I was working on taping off the area for her handprints she offered to help.

She tore off this piece of tape. Ha!

Anyway... we painted her up and got on with it.

(She loved taking pictures of flag making.)

Emily ended up doing almost 40 handprints.

The next step was preparing for Everett's feet to be painted. To help with the big job I assembled the Jumperoo and brought it in the house - I also rolled Emily into the living room to watch.

She was a great cheerleader and it was great to have her contained. :)

Everett was a total champ!

And 111 footprints later,

he had earned his binky...

and some red toenails.

*both gifts have only recently been opened - hence the strange timing of this post
