Helloooooo!

Well, hello there everyone. I thought I better check in to let you know that we had a safe and smooth trip west, arriving here on Tuesday afternoon. Our furniture and other belongings however... they are still in Texas. Really. We are to expect them to arrive on Monday or Tuesday of next week. In the mean time... we are keeping busy getting acquainted with the house and completing some projects. Tomorrow our cable and internet will be installed so perhaps I will get back to the "real world" and fill you in. Until then...

My Guys

I have a godfather, his name is Ryan (aka Uncle Ryan) and he is always ready to play with me.  He knows a lot of ways to make me laugh and I love him!

I also have two grandpas - aren't I lucky?!  Daddy's dad is my "Grandpa." He let's me work with him, shows me cool things, and I love him!

Mama's daddy is my "Papa."  He and I have a lot of talks, feed birdies together, play together, and I love him!

But it must be said on this, Father's Day, that my Daddy is my NUMBER ONE guy.  He was on my first Father's Day,   

the second, 

now, and all of the days in between.

He says that pretty soon he will take me to do this together whenever I want!  Can you believe it?!

I sure am a lucky little girl to have all of these special men in my life.  Plus, if it weren't for them I would never have had the opportunity to wear crazy outfits...

or taken my first ride in this cool car.

What's Up

Yesterday was packing day and today was the load.

They brought the truck totally empty and began to fill it up...

(it was big)

and just like that it was gone.

Okay, so it took 4 hours but that feels really fast when all of your belongings are driving away. In the morning, bright and early, we are hitting the road. All the grandparents and a trailer in tow (the grandparents won't have to ride in the trailer, no worries) - we will see you in a few days...

Dear Aunt Angie,

I didn't know you when you looked like this.

But I would recognize this smile ANYWHERE...

because it lights up a room.

I am really glad that your family...

was willing to share you with our family.

because you are great.

I knew it the moment we met.

We love you and wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Rounding Out the Weekend

So after everyone had some time to cool down, nap, and freshen up from the zoo we were off to dinner.  I don't have a good picture of the group but here is what I do have.  

The girl of many faces was in attendance...

and so were some fans from the zoo.

Once our bellies were almost full we went back to the house for some cake, ice cream, and presents.  

Emily was successful again in blowing out both candles with one blow.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with Emily this weekend - whether you were at the park, zoo, dinner, all of the above, or with her in spirit.  On to year three!
