Christmas Morning

Emily's morning began at about 6:15 when she was released from the bedroom...
to find this!
First stop, Cinderella's carriage.
Second, the castle!
After checking it out for a minute she was off running to wake Mimi and Papa...
and share the EXCITING news! Santa came!!
Once back in the family room she spotted some Ariel Squinkies and was VERY thrilled.
"Santa listened!" she said.
Then it was time to play...

until Everett came out.
Soon after, we went over to Uncle Ryan and Auntie J's house for a Christmas breakfast/pajama party!

Emily had fun saying, "Merry Christmas," to everyone...
and opening gifts.
Apparently, it was the year of the full size adult pajamas!

As is always the case, Emily liked the little boys' toys just as much as her own stuff.
Including Liam's (non-Christmas gift) firetruck. Luckily for her, Liam was even willing to push her...
before asking for a turn of his own.
The firetruck was a big hit with everyone though. Everett took his turn...
and Adam as well. Thank goodness those two boys have a "big" cousin to push them around!
We hung out for a while,
had a yummy breakfast, took a group picture...
and were on our way.

  1. That was a fun day and start of a new tradition, I hope, of pajama breakfast together!! Those pictures of Emily's first sighting and alerting Mimi and Papa are great!

  2. I think everyone looks wonderful in their pajamas!!!(Of course, I would!) But did I notice that one family member was not wearing pajamas-Paul. H-m-m. Does he claim that he does not own pajamas? If so, I can certainly help out!

    1. LOL! He wasn't the ONLY one, Adam too! Maybe he'll only conform if we're all dressed the same!!
