The Transformation!

So, does everyone remember our little caterpillar that looked like this?
And do you remember how he went in and made his cocoon? Well, he came back out about two weeks later and he wasn't a moth OR butterfly...
but he DID have wings!
Emily was very excited to see him...and made sure to show everyone.
Then we went out to set him free and had a peek at his empty cocoon that was between the two leaves.
And, wouldn't you know, Emily found a new friend to live in her bug house shortly after.

  3. Wow, that was an impressive video of the Release, do we know what kind of bug he was? I am so happy to know that the caterpillar was able to reach his true potential while living in that bug jar. You took good care of him Emily, great job!!
