The Moment the World Stood Still

After the Sesame Street show, we were invited to wait in line to meet the characters and have a picture taken.  We weren't so sure how Emily would feel about the whole idea but she was TOTALLY excited!!!  She was jumping around like crazy in line.
While we were waiting I tried to "clean" her up as well as I could for the BIG moment.  Ya know, maybe not look like she had been at Sea World for 7 1/2 hours already.
Then, it was time.
Zoe greeted us...
be still Emily's beating heart!
Then she was welcomed over to the Count and Elmo...
maybe she hurt Zoe's feelings with how happily she skipped over.
Picture time!
Once the picture taking was over, Emily gave each of them a big hug... and if all of that wasn't enough, Elmo rubbed Emily on the head when he was saying a final good-bye.
she is still talking about it.
They may have made her year!

  1. Who knew Elmo and everybody hung out at Sea World? Is Sesame street "under the sea"?

  11. Who doesn't love Elmo? And what's not to love? He's red, he's talks like a two year old and his laugh... oh Elmo, so jolly! Anyway I digress... what an awesome time. Emily looked so joyful and awe stricken to be in Elmo's graces! LOVE it!
