Emily ended up with several more customers and I put away a lot of groceries before we were off to the rocket ship! First, she sat in the chair...
but then got up to check out the controls.
The astronaut on board was quite serious and before long Emily was getting a good talking to about the dangers of playing with the controls when HE was in charge!
Then someone knocked off his helmet and he was yelling about not being able to breathe without it... this was my entertainment.
Emily enjoyed roaming around after the field trippers left (it was SO empty and quiet)...

and James even found an empty kayak.
Then, the kids found a favorite spot...
and hung out there for a while...
before it was time for some face painting...

Museum Day!
On Thursday morning we got on the road nice and early to meet some friends at a children's museum. First thing in the door, Emily visited the grocery store.
There was a lot going on for Emily...
but Addison and James (my friend's two children with the carts) got right to it!
After a few minutes, Emily found a perch...
and made herself at home.
Before long, she had a customer with a FULL basket...
who had two friends follow close behind to help unload while she furiously turned the wheel to advance the belt.
Unfortunately, they unloaded and then ran off leaving us with quite a mess to clean up! (darn field trip kids with no supervision)
