How could we have an Easter and not dye eggs? We couldn't... so here are some pictures from the event. Emily, always wanting to be a part of the measuring and pouring, got everything set up just right...

and then jumped right into the dying. This year she was much more careful and didn't double dip the eggs.

This year, she also got to add some glitter!!!

Daddy came home just in time to be a part of the fun...

and didn't miss out on the glitter either!

As the final touch, Emily added sequins to the top of her eggs... they were very princess like.

On Saturday we went out to our local Bunny Days festival. Emily just wanted to "watch" the ponies and saw no reason to ride one.

She also only wanted to watch the wagon ride...

and played with the decor.
What a fun day! A Happy Easter and a happy birthday to Mommy! Love the family picture, everyone looks great.

I know I'm slightly prejudiced but Emily is absolutely stunning in these pictures! She already looks like she is...3!!! Her Daddy was very careful about trying new things but he would always end up doing them. I think it was because he had a big sister to "help" him and that he wanted to keep up with her. Love you and miss you all...take good care of Bittwo!

Fun times, Emily! I love your beautiful eggs, especially the glittery ones. And it looks like you had fun at the Bunny Days, in your own way of course. Can't wait to see what the Easter Bunny brought you...
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! Except the egg dyeing part. That is my least favorite Easter activity. But the eggs look great!
ReplyDeleteWhat an eggstavaganza! Mama couldn't boil another batch of eggs fast enough for the artist! Exciting the see the changes a year made in Emily's concenration and "goal setting"! :)
