Today, we (Mama and Emily) went to the movies together! It was Emily's very first movie in a theater (not counting the short 3D film we saw at the aquarium). We left the boys at home and were off for a little girl time!
Emily was pretty excited to be there...
and stepped right up to tell the lady, "Winnie the Pooh, please!"
Then she carried our tickets inside...
and gave them to the man who directed us to...
theater 10.
On the way through the lobby we stopped off for some popcorn and Emily told everyone who came near us that we were looking for Winnie the Pooh. Once inside, Emily settled in with the popcorn... perhaps I got a bit too much.
She really enjoyed the experience and I only knew she was scared when the bag of popcorn would go up in front of her face - other than that she sat still and quiet.
When the movie was over she insisted that we stay through all of the credits since the characters were popping on and off the screen...
and we were the last ones out of the theater.
On the way out she thanked the man cleaning and asked me if we could go again another time. Then when we got home, she pulled her Pooh bear out of the closet for nap time.
I would say it was a great success!
How sweet that you shared a day together. I loved my one on one time with each one of my children. Now I get to have one on one with my granchildren!

What a fun day! Love that you got so many pictures there. We saw that movie too! Since you stayed until the end, did you see the very last scene with the "backson?" It was after the credits rolled. We were told to wait through the credits and we weren't disappointed!
