I was sitting on the couch nursing Everett this morning when Emily came in from the backyard and said, "I have terrible news. I teared (translation, tore) the flower." Confused, I asked her what flower and for her to show it to me when Everett was finished. She said, "no, I can't let you see it, you will be so angry." Then she continued with, "I have to get some tape so I can fix it." She then proceeded to walk to the garage and I knew she was looking for the blue painters tape I just had out. I told her that it was in the laundry room next to the sink. I could hear her in there trying to reach it and then heard her go and get her "step stool" (toy) that she uses in the playroom whenever she needs a little boost.

Emily is a genius! If only she knew that you can't actually fix broken flowers. Probably no point in telling her that. :) It's definitely the thought that counts!
ReplyDelete<3 love this!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great problem solver you have there! (that is adorable!!)
ReplyDeleteVery scientific! Haha!
ReplyDeletethat WAS terrible news! Just glad it wasn't a teared tomato! LOL! I love how Emily had a quick solution and could celebrate success with a DANCE!

Oh that's just great! What a great problem solver, and I"m impressed she was able to actually tape it together. The tape used around here just ends up in balls on the floor!
ReplyDeleteWell...I know I could learn a thing or two from Emily! Brilliant!
