Well, the BIG day finally arrived and we went in to get Emily out of bed on her 4th birthday!!!!!
She was very excited that is was time to get up!!!
Then, once she was dressed in her new princess outfit, she emerged from her room.
But, being silly, she didn't walk through the streamers...
and crawled under instead.
Then she went into the bathroom to find that Tinkerbell had visited and turned it into a
fairy pretty salon.
Tink had even left behind some spray glitter/pixie dust...
and had laid out Emily's tiara.
Once she was completely decked out, we went downstairs. With everything that had happened already, she wasn't sure WHAT might be so exciting at the bottom of the stairs.
Nothing scary or too overwhelming though, just some presents...
and a couple of admirers.
She was being bashful...
but couldn't really hide her excitement.
After checking out her new BIG girl bike, she opened her new books from Everett.
Then, we made breakfast to-go, piled into the car,
and were off for a magical day at Disneyland!!
What a great start for a big birthday girl!! The most impressive part to me is that YOU woke HER up. ;)
