On January 13th, Emily had her second dental check. She was very excited,
a great patient,
and quite relaxed. I loved her left arm just hanging there.
She had a full cleaning and chose "gubble bum" flavored fluoride. I think because it was the first one the hygienist named and wasn't something Emily knew she didn't like. The other choices were strawberry and watermelon. So, no surprise, she picked bubble gum pretty quick!Everett was a very good, supportive brother again and scored another toothbrush. This time he even had teeth to brush!

Emily's teeth are "very clean and look GREAT" - she will most likely have x-rays on her next visit since her back teeth are just now starting to touch. Until then... brush and floss, floss and brush.

Great job, Emily (and Momma) on keeping your teeth clean! You are a dentist's dream!
ReplyDeleteAmazing that she is SO HAPPY to be at the dentist. Hope it lasts!
ReplyDeleteFLOSS!?!?!? Well I guess if you start early it becomes a habit! I'm amazed at the relaxation too! I usually hold onto the chair as if I'm afraid there is an ejector button!
ReplyDeleteGood girl Emily!!
XOXOXO
Emily, your great grandpa would have been so-o-o- proud of you!!! Keep that calm attitude when you visit the dentist. It is much worse if you don't take care of your teeth. And ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT! Speaking from experience...
