Yesterday morning, Emily sat down to write out her valentines. She has always been a "lefty" but has been choosing her right a lot lately.
Then, later in the evening, another knock at the door brought more... for Emily.
While Daddy read the note, she buried her nose in each one.
The card said, "To my sweet girl. Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Daddy"And when he was done reading she leaned in and said, "you're the best Daddy in the whole world."
This morning, I surprised Emily with some yummy pink pancakes.
Except, the color came from red beets and like me, Emily didn't think they were too yummy.
Only one of us seemed to really enjoy them...

except maybe this bite.
I think that is when he started dropping them down by his feet.
Shortly after breakfast it was time to head to school. It was "pink day" today and Emily was all ready!
And, as always, very excited...
to be at school.
Happy Valentine's Day!
