Thanksgving

On Wednesday morning Emily and I finished up her Thanksgiving cards -
she did most of the work this year.
Then on Thursday morning, Emily was SOOOO happy/THANKful to see that Daddy had arrived and they started their morning off with some coloring.
Later there was a walk,
and some dog sniffing. ?!?!
Emily almost went through an entire bottle of  "doggie shampoo" with Uncle Adam and loved smelling them afterwards... except for when it tickled.

It was a very relaxed Thanksgiving day...
until we realized the baster was cracked (which means no suction) and Paul had to siphon the juices out of the pan.  ;)
Our table was pretty light on people this year but full of food!
After dinner, Mimi and Papa took some homemade dinner to the family of three living in the hospital.
Liam was even decked out in his "first Thanksgiving" outfit.
On Friday morning, our family dressed alike and headed out to the store to load up on groceries...
which we took over to Ryan and Jackie's since they were finally going home!  (with love from the whole family)
Overall it was a pretty relaxed couple of days.

  2. The only thing that would have made it more special was if Ryan, Jackie and Liam Jackson could have been there. We missed Victoria as well!

  7. I had a blast hanging with you and the rest of the family for Thanksgiving. Penny and Chief certainly enjoyed you to. The only thing that would have really made the time special was having Aunt Jackie, Uncle Ryan, Victoria, and baby Liam there.

I can't believe I missed your daddy providing his own suction for the turkey baster.

    Love, Uncle Adam
