Saturday: The Dinner + Dancing

So, after Emily laid in the pew we went back to the hotel where Everett ate a little, took a well deserved nap, and Emily watched a show and got out of her fancy clothes for a bit. Most people (including Daddy for picture purposes) went to the reception's cocktail hour...

but we showed up JUST IN TIME for Emily to be announced with the wedding party.

She was announced as "Princess" (with the ring bearer, Grant, who was totally adorable) - the DJ forgot the "Emily" part but, as you can imagine, she didn't care!!

After them were other members of the wedding party...
and then the bride and groom!

The princess and her first prince...
while her second prince was hanging out with Uncle Larry.
Emily was feeling a little shy and wanted to stick close to Daddy but was happy to have visitors.

And Everett, well, he was just happy.
Once dinner was done it was time for some dancing...

and photobooth pictures!
(Everett and Liam both went to sleep in a back back room during the reception and Aunt Allison (above in red) was there to listen for them.)
(Daddy tried really hard to get Emily into the photobooth, while I was putting Everett to bed, but no matter how exciting he made it look, she still wasn't ready.)

Then it was time for some more dancing...

After that we did a little dancing...



took some family pictures...

and ended the night with some... DANCING!



Eleven o'clock came pretty quick but Emily was ready with her bell and flower petals...
so she could send off the Mr. and Mrs. in style!

At the very end of the night, Everett was completely confused about what was going on...
and Emily told us that she wasn't going to go to bed because she wasn't tired.
It was a night we won't soon forget!
