Emily's new favorite store is Trader Joe's. It's not that it is a new store to her... it's just that she discovered something new there for her!
It is very handy to have her along to haul the groceries while I push Everett around. And, she even unloads the cart with much enthusiasm.
It was totally adorable... after she unloaded her cart that first time and took it over to it's designated "parking spot" she just stood there staring at it. This would have been RIGHT up my alley as a kid too. Adult "chores" are SO much fun for kids!!
Love it! Emily is such a great helper. You are very lucky.

ReplyDeleteJack does that too! I have often had to delay my TJ shopping while we wait by the door for a kiddie shopping cart to become available.

I'm with you Allison. As a child, I would have been over the moon with that shopping cart!!!What would be perfect would be childsized food and then Emily could put them in her childsized playhouse.(That was my fantasy!) It is so wonderful that Emily is such a helper! It makes everything so much better.

Love that they have carts for the little ones! Gives 'em something to do. Are Trader Joe's only in CA? I've heard of them but never knew of one in the DFW area.
