A couple of Saturdays ago, Emily and Daddy played soccer at the park. First thing's first though - Emily had to fill the balls...
(Everett had a little time before his nap so we ran up there to watch.)
and get the goal in place.
Eventually, she was ready to kick with Daddy...
and shoot on goal.
But, unlike her, she didn't want any applause.
After a bit of soccer, I found her trying to hide in the bushes...
and then she asked Daddy if they could go play on the playground.
Hope she is in the mood for more time spent playing soccer in the fall because she is all signed up!!* I don't know what happened to the net while it was in our backyard... :(
Great job playing soccer, Emily! Can't wait to see you play with your new team in the fall...should be fun for you and your family!
