Another Fun-day on Sunday

On Sunday morning we hurried out the door to a very chilly destination.  I didn't think carrying around Emily's coat was worth it for the short run from the parking lot so she wore her mittens and borrowed my scarf instead.
I was, however, very prepared for the single digit temperatures once inside though!

After her final layer was in place...
we were ready to go see some -

This year's ice exhibit theme was The Grinch.  It is amazing what 5000 blocks of ice weighing two million pounds can be turned into!

Emily thought the whole thing was pretty cool and loved it when she was let down to roam on her own.

She made sure to say her farewells...
and leave them with a kiss.  An AIR kiss of course!
Once we thawed out, we walked around inside for a while.  Emily really liked the train display...
but didn't care about the sleigh.
She indulged us with a few pictures (kinda, no smile) as we wandered...
but wouldn't have dared take her eyes off of that longhorn!
We had a great weekend!
