Christmas Eve

We started our day going for a walk with Papa, Magic, Uncle Adam, and Penny.
Emily was ready.

When we were almost home we stopped to take a picture of Mimi at the house...

and she took one of us too.

Poor Magic had to get a small rinse this time as well - again Emily was there for support.

During the afternoon we prepped dinner...

and Emily played around with Uncle Ryan.

I actually got a bow in for a few minutes before we left for mass - just in time for a few photos.

Emily did really well during mass.  The only problem was that we had to be there early for a seat (Emily's normal dinner time) so by gospel time she was starving.  Emily was shoving crackers in her mouth as quickly as she could chew and only paused when the bells rang out to yell, "jingle bells!"  It was pretty hilarious.
Once home, we snapped a couple of pictures of the granddaughters...

before reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and putting Emily to bed.

The rest of us then sat down to dinner...

and played a few games.

Next up... Christmas morning!
(Could be a while... I have about 300 pics to choose from - and that is after I have deleted a bunch!)

  3. Great family pics, especially the one with Em and Uncle Ryan as well as the Morris fam. And I love the back and forth with Mimi on the deck.

  4. Funny about Emily at mass. I know how you feel with the bow. Jill is the same way with bows, shoes, socks, hats, you get the picture.

  5. I loved the picture of the 2 grandkids - how fun that Emily is old enough for the 2 girls to play together. It looks like you had a special Christmas eve!
