Christmas Break = Big Playdates!

On Monday, Emily was invited to a big playdate - with teacher friends out on break there were more kids than usual! They started the morning with a game...
while Emily and Jackson just watched and gnawed.

Then Emily was off to find some ride-on vehicles...

before the kids eagerly went outside to play.

Again, Emily was separate from the group - this time chasing Lily with a bat...

and playing a little with Jane and Jill.

Before we left, the crowd ate lunch together...

and Emily gave out some hugs.

After her nap, Emily was excited to find some gifts to open from friends. She started with the singing card (which she opened and closed a million times)...

and then read her new books from Sophia.

She wasn't very happy when I moved them away in order to open her other gifts...

but was glad to find a new puzzle from Elizabeth and Ben...

and a cutie new apron from Jane and Jill.

She celebrated her fun new stuff with some paper throwing!

Thanks everyone!

  5. The photos are great -- all the kids in one spot like that makes it look like they are all at school!

  7. We had such a great playdate, too! We were so glad you and Emily could make it - and thank you so much for the playdough! The kids couldn't wait to get home and crack it open. We already have every color all mixed together :) E wasn't too happy about that - brothers!! :)
