Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we finally made it out to the pumpkin patch with Nana and Grandpa.
And, just like last year, ...
the first thing we did was get in line for the train.(There must be something calming about that since this is what she did last year...
and this year too.)

After a short time it was our turn!

Once the train ride was over, we made sure to get some pictures.

What a difference a year makes!

The third thing on the "to do" list was a face painting! There wasn't a book and we hadn't seen a lot of kids to copy so we told the lady that Emily wanted a scary face and that her favorite color is green.
She decided that a witch was the perfect solution.

Fourth up was...
the bounce house! She got in this year!
Actually, she went in a few times - so Everett had time for a bottle...
before we went over to see how the kids measure up this year...
compared to last year.

Then it was Everett's turn for some attention so Daddy gobbled up his neck...
and Everett returned the favor.
Sixth, Emily played a game of ring toss...
and won a giraffe!
And last but not least, was a pony ride!! Emily and Daddy had to wait in line for a few minutes...

but before TOO long she was up on Aspen!
This time she was brave enough to pet Aspen while riding along.

By the time we got home, Everett was happy to hear it was nap time...
and Emily made a bracelet with Nana.
That's when I realized that we failed to take a picture of the kids with Nana and Grandpa at the patch. So as soon as Everett woke up we fixed that!

Yay for fun Saturdays!

  1. Love their Halloween shirts! What a difference a year makes REALLY! Bounce house and PONY!! That looks like a fun park and Pumpkin Patch...too bad I've resolved to stay clear of your place during pumpkin carving season :( Do they have an Easter Egg Patch?

  2. Fun fun! My favorite is the one with Emily holding Everett at the patch and his mouth is all scrunched up. How fun to have Nana and Grandpa in on all the action!

  6. Ok - the first thing I noticed (besides your adorable children) was that you have been in CA long enough to be going to a pumpkin patch 2 years in a row! In some ways it doesn't seem like you have been gone that long...and in other ways you seem like you have been gone forever :( I have to end before i start to get too sad! The shirts were sure adorable - and what a difference a year makes! Emily was so brave this year!
