When we went to bed on the first day of spring it was snowing. This was our deck on the second day of spring.
Hmmm... time to break out the snowsuit (I have washed it twice already to prep for packing away) and snow-boots. For some reason, Emily took both pairs of boots and put them in the family room - then she was trying to use the chair to balance as she put her foot in...
and when she couldn't reach, she used my "sturdy" boot to balance.
But that didn't work so great either.
It ended well though, and eventually we made it outside.
(no new snow, it was just blowing off the trees this morning)
Check this out... I think it is pretty wild...
and it had Emily staring and contemplating for a while.
Once inside, Emily warmed up with a good book.
I hope this is our last snow for the year - we are ready for nice spring weather. Just to be sure... I WON'T wash the snowsuit (for at least 3 days, hehe, I don't like things "pending" just ask my mom).
Wow! Y'all got way more snow than we did. We just got a light dusting. That snow suit sure has come in handy. Bet you'll never need one in CA.
ReplyDeleteNo way! I can't believe it snowed this weekend in TX. It was so sunny and warm in SoCal this weekend. You will definitely NOT need that snow suit next year...that is, of course, unless you take a TRIP to the snow :) Stay warm this week, Emily!

ReplyDeleteAs for the snow...just crazy. Love the pics in the snow, you could probably make a photo book all of snow pictures since we've had so much this year!
