Sun? Warmth?

The best thing has hit our area... nice weather!!  Yahoo!  I decided that to celebrate we would head out to the zoo.  We invited our neighbors Natascha and Sonja to come along for the fun and they agreed.  It was a date!

When we arrived, we got the girls all situated in their chariots...

and then wandered around for a while.

Emily was thrilled to have a chance to feed the birdies again and even though they weren't biting at first...

she soon scored one of her own.

Later, Emily spent some time watching the bears play around...

I think Sonja was enjoying herself as well...

and the girls got some quality time together.

I guess Emily was listening to me talk about how some of the animals are hard to see since they blend in with their environment - this is what she was doing once we got home.

We had such a great time we will probably be going again with Daddy on Sunday!!  Just in time for the weather to turn ugly next week.
