Surprise!!

Emily likes surprises.  She likes to reveal things and yell "su-pise." So much so that the other day at the park when a teenage girl jumped out and startled her friend, Emily (who was watching the whole thing) yelled, "SU-PISE!!"
So, you can imagine her excitement yesterday when Daddy returned from his trip and surprised her at lunch time.
Then, on top of his visit, he brought her a surprise!  She was asked to close her eyes...
and keep them closed...
until it was finally time to open them!
She wasted no time getting acquainted, pointing out his nose...
and eyes.
Then she went to get Elmo - he was happy to see Grover too -
and started introducing Grover to all of her other "babies."

Grover slept with Emily last night and watched her eat breakfast this morning.  She is pretty excited about him.
