It was finally time for Emily to see both of the boys, Jack and Noah, together again. The last time the three were together was last September.
(I was supposed to get another picture like the one above and failed.)Emily spent much of the first 15 minutes attached to me but was finally convinced to give her presents to Noah...
and Jack.
She was pretty excited and I think everyone really liked their treats.
After a while we made it outside for some vehicle...

and sand time.
Once back inside Emily checked out some of Jack's fun toys...
and even lounged a little in his baby tub.
Eventually the kids tired of being indoors and requested a walk. Noah and Jack, best buds, were on their way...
while Emily lagged behind a little.
Finally she caught up and the boys really wanted her to walk with them (and so did all of the adults along). It was a bit awkward at first with her right hand,
and pretty soon the boys were ready to MOVE...
while Emily seemed to want to be released.
In the end, it all worked out. We got the correct hands matched up and the adults took turns "anchoring" the runaway train.
It was a fun morning and we look forward to seeing them again soon!

Looks like Emily had a great time and that she enjoyed giving them their special gift. In the banner picture...are you sure it's the same girl?
ReplyDeleteGreat playdate and a fantastic treat, homemade graham cookies/letters!
ReplyDeleteLove, Aunt Carolyn
We had a great time. Look forward to touring the LA region and visiting everyone else for more playdates.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun playdate. I'd love an edible gift!
ReplyDeleteP.S. my word verification for the above comment was "cries." Boo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time! You'll have to refresh my memory...how do you know Noah and Jack?
