On Easter morning we discovered that the Easter Bunny had visited!
Emily was feeling a little shy, so Daddy carried her over to see what the hubbub was about.
Everett wanted to see too, but he just had to wait in his crib.
As soon as Emily saw that Princess Aurora was in her basket, she was ready to get down and check her out!
Then, she inspected Everett's goodies,
read the ingredients aloud,
and handed them over.
Soon after, we got dressed and ready for mass. We went to St. Teresa of Avila which is Aunt Mo, Uncle Rick, Flannery, and Jack's home church. After mass they were having donuts downstairs so we went to grab one before taking a few pictures in the garden area while waiting for the egg hunt.
(Emily insisted that she get to hold Everett.)
I did try to get a few pictures of each of them alone but Emily was doing this crazy chin rest thing...
that looks really strange when there is nothing for the elbow to rest on!
Luckily, Everett doesn't know anything about "posing."
(and they asked that, at the end, we put all of the kids on the altar for some group pictures)
When it was all said and done, Emily emptied out her loot...
and returned the empty shells for next year's hunt!
We had a great morning but the day was just beginning...

Such a fun morning! Aurora joining the family AND extra kids to hunt eggs with!! How could Easter be better?!?!?
ReplyDeleteEmily and Everett look so cute all dressed up in their Easter outfits! Love the posing and non-posing. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, so glad the Easter Bunny found you in San Francisco! Looks like you had fun at mass and got lots of eggs afterwards. Happy Easter!
