Behind the Scenes

Thank you for all of the comments about the bluebonnet pictures.  Here are some "behind the scenes" shots.  Ooooh, Aahhh...
One of the many ladybugs, Emily tried really hard to pick this one up...
but was unsuccessful and was left asking, "where did the ladybug go?!"
Aunt Allison was along for the adventure and was helping Emily locate some more.
Then I got a phone call and Emily took off for the trees...
laid in the grass (even though she hadn't wanted to lay in the flowers shortly before this)...
and ran wild for a few minutes...
until she decided that she would, in fact, lay in the flowers.  Unfortunately, I don't think they were very comfortable.
(gave her an opportunity to practice her Pilates though)
Allison was very helpful in snapping some phone pics for a different perspective of the event.
These next two are very helpful in showing what I was talking about in the last post about getting Emily in position for the "perfect" shot.
Me: "Here Emily, this is a lovely little spot to sit don't you think?  Just sit down for a minute..."
(picture me scurrying around the flowers and throwing myself down)
"smile.  AAAHHH!!"
click
I hope I can recover and move on soon.  ;)

  2. I still can't believe she never called us out on all of our "I think the ladybugs are over here..." and "Emily, come chase the butterfly!"

  3. I love the photos from this perspective even better! You never get to see what the photographer has to go through to get the perfect shot. I'm glad Aunt Allison was there to capture it for us.

  5. So glad you posted these. They give your phot shoot a whole new dimension. You 2 are brave. Traveling knee deep in weeds and grass...there could be bugs, snakes, ants....YIKES! Creeps me out just thinking about it.:)
