Saturday

Saturday brought more of the same for Emily - lots of fun doing not much of anything at Mimi and Papa's.

Emily did some drawing and a demonstration with Papa of how well she knows her shapes - most surprising, knowing the difference between a circle and an oval.  At least I was surprised!

Then a few of us were off for a walk...

before Emily took a little dip with Mama.

(she was such a big girl sitting on her own and then walking along all of the benches)

During Emily's nap the men were off for a little golfing and the ladies (Mimi, Mama, Dele, Aunt Angie) stayed back and did some crafting.  Too bad we didn't snap a pic of our fun craft time on the deck.  :(

Uncle Adam snuggled right up to Emily when he got home and explained that he wished he had just stayed back to play with her rather than golf.

It was very sweet.

Then, to wind down the day, Emily went out with Aunt Angie to watch Uncle Adam throw the frisbee for Penny.

Before heading in for bed Emily had to get in on the action a little more...

and helped Uncle Adam call Penny and throw for her.
