Aunt Allison came to town this weekend for a party and to spend some time with Miss Emily Rose. Emily was quite fond of the idea and of Aunt Allison in general. On Friday night after I put Emily to bed she stood up and was calling, "Aunt Allison kiss." I told Allison that she should go in because Emily doesn't usually stand and wouldn't give up on this idea any time soon. Happily, Allison obliged and went in for one last kiss. At that precise moment Emily dove to the mattress satisfied and ready for sleep... no more calling out for anything. It was really sweet.
Anyway, on Saturday evening I made the two of them go in the backyard for a few pictures. Emily was all about saying, "CHEESE!" on our way out...
but once outside she spent more time playing. That's okay though, I got some cute shots.

Where'd that baby Emily go? She's looking more and more like a little girl and less and less like a baby. Ditto for Sophia. I am definitely starting to see the Allison in her.
