Last week Emily was helping me put together a book shelf to hang in the playroom. I set the camera on her table to take a bunch of pictures with the timer as we worked - I guess she saw it sitting there.

It didn't stop her from being a great help...

even though she did check back with the camera every so often.

Once she was done hammering she took the allen wrench to work on her table.

Before long there were a bunch of friends getting in on the action. Her doll...

Raggedy Ann (who she calls the mermaid, red hair?)...

my old santa bear...

Minnie Mouse...

the bear...

and her ladybug. That lady bug was REALLY talented and able to help with her back foot!

Since she had so many assistants the table was finished in a jiffy and she came back over to help me with the finishing touches.

Some day soon we might actually hang it on the wall! :)
no wonder she's so smart! She helps you with EVERYTHING! So nice that she helps teach her babies all of this too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a big helper! One of the many fun things about this age. Good job, Emily!

What a great helper! I think she's ready for the Home Depot and Lowes kids building club. My kids love going there on Saturdays to build with daddy. I can't wait to see that shelf on the wall either!
