Grandpa's Light

On Saturday evening Nana and Grandpa came over to assist Daddy in changing out a light fixture.  Emily also thought she could lend a hand so she found herself a good spot to oversee the situation... (note THE book in her lap)
and stood when she felt that they needed some additional direction.
After a couple of minutes, she thought the men could handle the next few steps on their own and found a new place to set up shop - she got right down to business...

until her services were once again needed in the lighting department.

Then, being the smart little manager that she is, she figured that she could do both things at once -  play...

AND direct!

Nana got in on the fun as well,

and had great visions of crunching styrofoam all over Emily's head.
There was only one problem... static.
Now Emily calls that fixture "Grandpa's light" and something tells me she hopes Grandpa comes over to install another one really soon!
(There was a video here of you playing with the foam packaging.  You tore it all up, threw it in the air, and made quite a mess with Nana.)

  5. Ben has the same obsession with styrofoam - I love the picture with all the foam stuck all over Emily and Grandma - so funny! It looks like Emily can have a good time no matter what's going on!

  6. Oh my gosh! I hate styrofoam- it's so
static-y! You are so easy-going knowing its stuck to everything! Emily and her grandma sure enjoyed it though. Funny, Uncle Jerry helped big Eddie put in a new light/fan in the master bedroom last summer and then Eddie was able to put a new light/fan in the living room alone. As always your pictures and posts are great!
