We took the train from Heathrow to Paddington Station (where we got Emily her very own Paddington Bear) and then taxied to our hotel.

The room was very nice...

with a cool balcony...

but my favorite part was weighing myself in kilograms.

I didn't waste any time before taking some pictures off the balcony. Our view to the left...

and to the right.

After freshening up we headed out to walk around a little and get some dinner. As we crossed Westminster Bridge I took a picture of our hotel... (our room is on the far left)
the Palace of Westminster, and the Clock Tower which houses Big Ben.
That was a trip of a lifetime!! So glad you were able to make it and leave Mimi and Papa in charge.

Great pics! So sad I don't go to Bunko (Bunco?)--you'll have to fill me in on all the details--come visit me!! I'm jealous-looks like a wonderful trip. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a crazy and memorable experience! It sounds like you had an awesome time in spite of the door situation. What hotel did you stay in? We may be going to London in May (combined with Javad's work). Hope you are doing well...when do you move?
