On the 21st, Emily was introduced to PlayDoh! At first she just tried to put it back in the container...

but was soon cutting her own hearts.

She really liked when I made balls. We would stack them as snowmen or she would just tear them apart while squealing - I think she preferred that.

By the end of that day she was mastering PlayDoh disguises...

This is a video of her absolute favorite PlayDoh activity though... HOLES!
(this was a video of you asking over and over for "more holes, Mama!" I would flatten out the Play Doh and then make holes with my knuckles - you liked to stick your fingers in the holes and tear it all apart.)
Play-doh!! So fun!! I avoided giving it to the boys for the longest time since it has a way of getting into the carpet and everywhere else, but they love it! Now I keep it in my diaper bag and let them play with it at restaurants. Perfect. Oh and love the video- holes!
ReplyDeletePlay-doh was never my favorite activity either, reserved for outside play often. High chair tray seems to work well though. I like Emilio!

Love it!!!! I haven't given Sophia any play dough yet for fear she would eat it but who am I kidding. There's no way she'd put it in her mouth. Although, isn't that the way it usually works? They always put the stuff in their mouths that you don't want them to. Good counting Emily!
ReplyDeleteWow, The Nickel actually got up and walked over to poke his head around the laptop screen for this one! Awesome counting and - MORE HOLES!
ReplyDeleteHee, hee! I love it! PlayDoh is so much fun! Noah plays with it at school and comes home with it on the bottom of his shoes. Go figure.
