Just thought I would check in and let y'all know what we have been up to lately.
Not much.
Emily did learn what the coasters she always plays with are meant for - so that night she insisted on having one for each cup.
I have been doing some yard work and other work around the house prepping to sell. Apparently Paul thought that it was about time there was a video of me doing... what I do.
(This is a video Daddy took of Mama dancing out the back windows. You were cracking up and asking for "more.")
Emily has also really gone crazy with her pretend play which I love. This day she thought the horse needed a binky so she grabbed hers out of the crib and shared.
Then she covered him up with a "blanket" so he could go night-night.

With all of this pretend play Emily is also perfecting her acting skills - this is "distressed."
(this was a hilarious video of you being dramatic and making funny faces... you were upset with me because you wanted to see the camera)
Great video of mommy!! Love it! I also like the distressed face. Jill has been doing that exact same stuff with her animals and the doll house dolls. Yesterday she got a paper towel from the kitchen and was wiping the doll's face and nose- so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the dramatics of the last video, funny how they catch onto that at such an early age! The boys heard Emily as I was watching and came over to see, so I played it again. As I'm writing this comment Rhett is pulling on my sleeve and saying more, more... he wants to see more of his friend Emily!

ReplyDeleteLove the video of you "cleaning", especially her laughter. Sophia has been doing that same kind of stuff with her dolls. In fact, lately she's been stealing bibs and diapers to try to put on them. Gotta watch that one.

Emily, my boys are smitten with you and they have never even met you! They love to watch you laugh and make silly faces and noises. You are quite the entertainer! You must have gotten that from your Mama. :)
