So when I put Emily down for nap today I was planning on running out to Costco when she woke up. Instead, I came in to my computer and found an invite to join Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Jerry for some fun - they have decided to stay close by for a few extra days. When Emily woke up she was very thrilled to hear that we were heading to the beach!
I did take Emily in her suit this time so she was all ready to go...
and thankfully I had some help chasing her around in the water.
After a little while on the beach we were off to dinner at The Cliff - on a cliff.
We watched the sun disappear behind Catalina island,
some dolphins swim by,
and had a LOVELY afternoon. Much better than a trip to Costco. :)
Wow, what a nice surprise to wake up to, Emily! The day looked amazing, too. I love the last one with the sunset. Priceless!
