So I have been wondering... might it feel like I have three kids in May? Emily is all about her baby right now and insists on taking her most everywhere. Like the other day when we went to get the mail...

"Look Ma, No Hands!"

and then had to venture further so the baby could see the duck's latest outfit.

(Emily forgot for a moment about the baby because she was distraught that the duck couldn't see.)

I mention that it might feel like three because when we got in the car last Friday Emily realized that the baby didn't have her binky so I had to go back in to get it. Really. That was on the way to the Farmer's Market which baby couldn't miss either.

(I loved how Emily would park the stroller outside each tent right beside mine.)

Baby WAS very helpful though, doing her part to carry the load...

and Emily DID take care of her own baby the entire time so it may not end up being so bad.

In other news, while at the market Emily asked to taste an apple, and also sampled an orange, apple juice, dried mango, and asked for seconds of these roasted corn kernels.

That's HUGE people!
Emily is sure growing up! Trying new foods, taking care of a baby- what a year this is starting out to be!
ReplyDeleteTaste testing!?!?!?!?!? Wondering if you did the Happy Dance right there at the market! That duck is the greatest! Dressed for the rain but yes, should be able to watch for visitors! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love seeing Emily with her baby and stroller. Hilarious! I'm wondering if her fire engine might like a ride as well? And of course, from one picky-eater-Mama to another, I am thrilled to see Emily try new foods. There is hope yet!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that Sophia isn't the only one so into babies right now. She loves that stroller too! And YIPPEE for tasting and trying. She must be trying to be a good example for baby.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Busy girl just like her mama!! Love you~Christy
ReplyDeleteOooh -- the Farmer's Market has so many benefits! So great that you could use it as a testing ground for new foods!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good little caretaker! :)
ReplyDeleteEmily, you are so good with babies! You did such a great job holding Liam and now look at you with that stroller! Way to go trying new foods too, big girl! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a big girl is right! Should I tell you the story of when Susan decided she could get in Eric's crib and change his diaper!? And when Robert came along, I had to remind Susan many times that Robert was my baby and it was my turn to hold him! As always, the pictures are great!
