Lugging It All Home

Let me start by saying that having to transport a lot of goodies from loved ones on the airplane after Christmas is not a bad problem to have!  We feel very fortunate.  Now, let's get down to business!
This is how we arrived at the airport to fly away to Texas...
and this was our cart on the return trip.
Aside from the pack n' play (in the beige bag - which was coming home with us regardless and wasn't considered in any estimations) we added this.  One carry on size suitcase.
Perhaps I didn't mention that I have the blood of the "master packer" running through my veins.  ;)
Here is our loot unpacked and broken down by bag once we arrived home.  In the brown suitcase we added...
the green suitcase held...
the black duffel carried...
and our one extra suitcase was stuffed with this.
Thankfully, we were able to transport all of our Christmas gifts home on the airplane with us.
And what's more?!  We didn't pay a cent.  Thanks to Daddy's history of flying for work and airline status, we each got 2 free bags.  Plus, the pack n play and stroller aren't counted in that and Emily sits in her carseat on the plane.  Not too shabby!!

  3. Wow, I am so impressed. My guess was three bags. I am not en expert packer so in my world, all your gift would be in three bags :) I need to learn from "The best" one day...
